Tail of the Dragon (Route 129) near Robbinsville N.C. Here is a
couple of suggestions next time you are doing the Dragon. Try Route 28
from Franklin N.C. up to route 29. This route is about an hour ride
and has many spots along the way that are as exciting as the Dragon Tail
without the traffic and all of the Tenn. State Police. Also when in
the area do not miss the Cherohala Skyway (Route 165) from Robbinsville N.C.
to Tellico Plains, Tenn. Restaurants
